Emily Hutchinson is a trailblazer in the Laser Aesthetic Industry. She has received numerous awards as the Founder and Industry-Leading Educator of the Southern Laser Academy. Her work is nationally recognized as the “Best of the Best in Cosmetic Laser Training” (Gwinnett), “Cosmetic Laser Training School of the Year” (Prestige) and one of the “Top 10 Personalities Disrupting The Beauty Industry” (NYC Journal).
Emily holds her license and certification as an CME, LE, CCE, Laser Practitioner and Paramedic. Emily began her education at Palm Beach Academy of Health and Beauty and is a long-standing member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. She is an accredited educator for The Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal and a member of the American Med Spa Association (AmSPA).
Emily owns and operates two main facilities: The Southern Laser Academy near Atlanta, Georgia, and Metamorphosis Aesthetics in Jupiter, Florida. In addition, Emily provides mentorships and skill development programs at doctors’ offices in all 50 states.
Emily has a strong drive to help patients with ALL skin types look and feel their best. When meeting her, you instantly see her passion shine through every interaction with every student.
Dr. David M. Whiteman

Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Dr. David M. Whiteman is a double board-certified cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon who has served the Atlanta community since 1993. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and holds membership in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
Dr. Whiteman has been performing successful cosmetic laser treatments for 20 years. He is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), which promotes the highest standards of research, education, and clinical care in the medical laser field.
Dr. Whiteman is a leading expert for nationally syndicated television shows, professional publications, educational training and his engaging presentations throughout the world,
In addition to our SLA Programs, Dr. Whiteman is available for private cosmetic injectable training.

With three decades of experience in the esthetics and laser technology fields, Vida holds her license and certification as an LME. She has expertise in a wide range of treatments, from advanced skincare protocols to cutting-edge laser therapies. Her commitment to providing personalized, effective solutions has made her a trusted expert in the industry by helping clients achieve their skincare goals with precision and care.
Vida Razmara is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing skin health and beauty. As an assistant instructor at Southern Laser Academy, she plays a key role in mentoring the next generation of laser technicians. Vida is a trusted member of the SLA team and is dedicated to helping students build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in this ever-evolving field.
